Texas Parks and Wildlife (TPWL) holds statewide jurisdiction to enforce traffic laws, state statutes, and regulations. Park Rangers and Game Wardens, as authorized agents of TPWL, are responsible for patrolling the parks and wilderness areas within Harris County, ensuring the safety of these natural areas and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
