Prior to starting Harris, I was searching around looking for an ERLC community to join. I was relatively new to the whole "Whitelisted RP" thing and was just trying to see where I could fit in. It was until I joined a large server and was disrespected and treated awfully... it was a horrible experience. So horrible that it inspired me to start Harris County Texas Roleplay, a Server based on my hometown. This is the first server and community I've ever had such an executive position.
I had little experience in moderation and absolutely none in ERLC moderation/administration. I was a small moderator in a Sandy Shores based Roblox game. Although the experience from that game was minor, it is what I base a lot of the concepts we have here on.
Responsibilities
As the County Judge, I hold the highest level of authority within Harris County, responsible for the overall administration and governance of the community. My duties encompass overseeing all operations, including the management of resources, personnel, and county initiatives.
I lead the Commissioners Court, guiding the strategic direction of the county, and making critical decisions that affect all aspects of our operations. I work closely with the Commissioners to ensure that each department functions efficiently, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring that our policies and procedures are adhered to. My role also involves liaising with external partners and stakeholders to foster relationships that benefit the county and its residents.
