1. About us
Harris County, Texas Roleplay ("HCTXRP", "we", "us") is a fan-run Roblox roleplay community and game group. We are not affiliated with the real Harris County, Texas government, Roblox Corporation, or Discord Inc. Government titles used here are fictional roleplay positions.
2. Accepting these terms
By creating an account, signing in with Roblox, connecting Discord, or using our website or games, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
3. Eligibility
You must follow the Roblox Terms of Use and Discord Terms of Service, including their minimum age requirements. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms.
4. Accounts and verification
Members must link a Roblox account and a Discord account that they own. You may only link one Roblox and one Discord account, and you may not share, sell, or impersonate accounts. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may refuse, suspend, or remove verification at our discretion.
5. Community conduct
Members of Harris County, Texas Roleplay agree to comply with all rules and guidelines set by the HCTXRP Harris County Ordiance, which can be found on the HCTXRP Discord Server above all. Members further more agree no to harass, threaten, or discriminate against others; exploit, cheat, or use unauthorized software in our games; post illegal, sexual, or hateful content; spam or advertise without permission; attempt to access staff tools or data you're not authorized to see; or interfere with the website or games.
6. Moderation, bans and the server blacklist
Staff may warn, kick, or ban users from our games and community, and may restrict portal access for members of Discord servers we have blacklisted. You may appeal a ban via the Ban Appeals page as applicable. Moderator and administrator decisions on appeals are final.
7. Ranks, applications and roles
Ranks, titles, clearance levels, and staff positions are roleplay privileges, not employment. They carry no pay or legal status and may be changed or removed at any time. Applications are reviewed at the discretion of department leadership.
8. Your content
You keep ownership of what you submit (applications, tickets, appeals). You give us permission to store, display to authorized staff, and use it to run the community. Don't submit anything you don't have the right to share.
9. Our content
Our logos, game assets, and website content belong to HCTXRP or its creators. Roblox is a trademark of Roblox Corporation; Discord is a trademark of Discord Inc.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HCTXRP and its staff are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost items or progress, or downtime.
11. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion through Support.
